Sephora Beauty Insider: What I Purchased

Every year, Sephora has a Beauty Insider sale. I usually shop online if the products are online exclusives or there are some rare times where I would go into stores and get those items if they sold out online. I also pay visits to stores to try out samples that I have been eyeing for awhile. I have been eyeing on a few things that I was hesitant about buying in the past and one I wanted to retry, so this was my chance to purchase them to test out. This is my purchase from the Sephora sale.

Reason:

This was the most expensive item I have ever purchased. I haven't tried many of Pat McGrath's cosmetic line with Sephora. I'm not 100% sure if this is a limited edition lip set or if it is a regular item. All Pat McGrath cosmetics are available online only and not in Sephora stores. The only thing I tried out from her was the collaboration she did with Cover Girl, the TruMatch Naked Eyeshadow Palette - Jewels.

Limited Edition Too Faced Sex On The Peach - $55.00 CDN This kit comes with 2 full sizes and 2 deluxe sizes products. The #1 seller is their full size Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, full-size Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder, deluxe Primed and Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer and deluxe Peach Mist Mattifying Setting Spray.

Reason: This kit was great for me to try out their face products since I've heard nothing but good things about it for people who has oily skin, like myself. The famous Better Than Sex mascara I didn't care about. I got their deluxe size sample of Better Than Sex from 100 points award from the past. The mascara did nothing for my lashes.

Reason:

I got Becca highlighters and blushes from their collection before and I really liked them. When I saw this kit online, I thought this was the perfect way to try out the Backlight Primer and Sunlit Bronzer in Capri Coast.

Reason: I only have one full-size lipstick in Rosewood. I found this matte lipstick to be super drying on the lips. I was hesitant to buy another lipstick for that reason. When I swatched Stargazer in the store, the tester was creamy but I immediately fell in love with the shade anyways. This is a great buy to try out all 4 shades of lipsticks, and hope they can change my mind on these lipsticks. Individual Prices: Full-Size Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick - $23.00

Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder - Coral - $25.00 CDN This is part of their regular line. There are 18 shades to choose from. There only select colors that are available in stores or online only.

Reason:

I do not a ton of Make Up Forever eyeshadows besides one eyeshadow palette, one single eyeshadow, one glitter shadow and one lip product, which I enjoy. But, I haven't tried their Star Lit Powder collections. This Coral shade I purchased is only available online
